Thursday Night Social Curling League
A fun-first Adult Curling League in Alexandra for the ‘not-so-pro’ players out there.
Hack curling is well established at Olympic Level and is proving very popular with all ages, and tuition is available for this.
It’s a chance to catch up and socialise, enjoy a game and relax with a few refreshments. Teams play inside on the indoor sheets and outside on the traditional outdoor sheets.
Corporate Curling has proved very popular. Ask at the rink for a contact person then get your team organised.
Come along and have a go at our new indoor curling rink, newcomers are most welcome to have a try.
Here’s how it works
- The Social Curling competition runs throughout the season – May to Mid September.
- Each game is 1 hour long and start at 6:00pm, 7:00pm or 8:00pm.
- Teams rotate start times and around the indoor and outdoor sheets each week depending on the draw.
- Costs are just $10 per game.
Please wear appropriate footwear such as sports shoes
Please wear clean shoes rather than dirty work boots and dirty work clothes. This is because you need to wear grippers over your footwear and dirt and grime off clothing has a big impact on your game when it gets onto the ice.
***No boots, gumboots, sandals/jandals or a raised heel.***
